Regarding craftsmanship: All products in our store are original designs and productions by Chiyi Studio. Due to the handmade process, issues such as loose threads, misaligned stitches, and creases are unavoidable. Before delivery via SF Express, our quality control team conducts a unified inspection, but some omissions are inevitable. If you find significant defects or other problems after receiving your order, please contact customer service immediately, and we will resolve your issues as soon as possible.

Regarding leather: All bags in our store are made of imported top-grain cowhide (different from ordinary split leather, i.e., cow split leather, which is of superior quality). Apart from a waterproof coating, the leather surface undergoes no polishing, finishing, or plating processes to preserve its unique luster and texture. However, please note that the leather surface may have common leather imperfections (such as scars, gadfly scars, large pores, and growth lines). These are normal textures, and unusable parts are avoided during cutting. These are unavoidable leather imperfections within the normal range for the product. If you find any damage after receiving your order, please contact customer service immediately. Meanwhile, our bags are made in small batches, and the leather used in each batch is different. Therefore, each bag has slight variations, and no two bags are exactly alike; each is a unique handmade product.

Regarding hardware: The standard hardware for our bags is made of brass by default. It will oxidize and develop an antique look over time. To restore its shine, you can use a cotton cloth and brass polish (black hardware is brass plated black, so it will wear down with use and reveal the original brass color).

Regarding waterproofing: All bags and cushions in our store come with a waterproof cover. Leather products are coated with a waterproof layer; the waterproof effect varies depending on the leather type, but it is sufficient for daily waterproofing. In extreme environments or after car washing, please remove the product. If removal is not possible, please use a waterproof cover immediately. Do not immerse any of our products in water. If rain occurs, simply wipe them dry! Do not allow contact with any acidic or alkaline detergents, such as car wash liquid! Acidic or alkaline detergents will cause the waterproof coating on the leather surface to peel off! We are not responsible for any damage to the leather caused by soaking in water or detergents!

Regarding pepper salt fabric: Leather and fabric combination products mainly use pepper salt fabric. Pepper salt fabric is made of three different colored warp and weft threads, creating a distinctive white and brownish-green or black mixed effect, resembling the color of pepper and salt mixed together, hence the name pepper salt fabric. Pepper salt fabric boasts exceptional waterproof and durable properties. Its waterproof principle lies in the fact that when water gets on the surface, the longer fibers of the nettle absorb the moisture, resulting in super waterproof performance. Pepper salt fabric may inevitably have some loose threads, which is part of its charm.
